It took just under 3 quarts of Mobil 1 20 50 V Twin syn to fill my engine case and oil tank on my last change. ( Do not fill above 3/4 full cold after start with a full filter. It takes 1 quart in the primary same stuff. One more thing be sure to get the right filter with the bypass for your sportster.
