I have a 2007 BMW 335i, and everything works amazingly except the heat. The AC blows cold on even the hottest days, but I cannot get the heat to blow from the vents. I have tried everything. I drove back from Orlando, FL last night up to north Florida, and the outside temperature dropped to about 32 degrees. I had the internal temperature set
Thoroughly clean the glass round the break, taking care not to damage the element further. Stick down some masking tape along each side of the broken element, along the length you intend to repair. Apply a coat of conducting paint to the break. Leave it to dry for 20 minute, then apply a second coat. The heat controller comes up powered down after. a battery disconnect . Also if you ever want to turn the controller. all the way off keep turning the fan down till the controller turns off.
The blower is fine & air is moving, just not cold. If at a stop, I notice the RPM would bounce from 500/600 to 900/1000 & drop back down very 5 secs. If I turn the AC off, after it stops working, the RPM stops bouncing. While the AC is functioning & on, I have no issues.
